Tony Tussing and Therese have made official assignments for the Tom Jones Invitational available to us.  It is time to start studying and preparing for the season.

It is an especially important year to us in Florida.  In addition to the large Invitational meets sponsored by Florida State and the University of Florida, two very important conference meets will be held in state.  The SEC and ACC will both be contested here.  It is important for all local officials to prepare accordingly.

Combine studying this with consulting

and perusing the NFHSAA Officials Manual and you should be well prepared for our first meet assignments.  Some of our best preparation will come from interacting and learning from people with whom we will be working.  

At our initial meeting at the University of Florida we will cover rule and editorial changes found in the new book.  Time will also be set aside to assist with preparations for the FHSAA recertification .
